Gas and Plumbing SupervisorThe role will be based at Reading, RG2 0QX£33 p/h and £35 p/hWe are seeking an experienced Agency Trade Supervisor - Gas and Plumbing to lead gas engineers, plumbers and specialist subcontractors delivering repairs, servicing and maintenance across our housing stock. The role is hands-on and supervisory, ensuring homes are kept safe, warm and compliant, while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.The successful candidate will oversee the allocation and sequencing of gas and plumbing works, monitor productivity and quality, carry out site inspections, and ensure full compliance with health and safety, gas safety legislation and industry standards.Responsibilities include supervising operatives on site, conducting toolbox talks and 1:1s, checking van stock and equipment, and providing technical guidance and support to ensure work is completed right first time and within agreed timescales.You must be a qualified Gas and Plumbing professional with up-to-date domestic gas certifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 and CPA1, supported by a recognised apprenticeship or City and Guilds qualification. Strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and the ability to assess performance and drive compliance are essential.
