Our client is a market-leading defence company that builds highly specialised equipment for special forces, target acquisition and precision targeting. They are expanding rapidly at the moment and are looking to expand their testing team with the addition of a Senior System Test Engineer. The successful candidate will join a growing team on the bleeding edge of technology. Responsibilities Own and develop system-level test plans in collaboration with development and test teams. Execute, plan and enhance system tests, contributing to overall product quality improvements. Investigate root causes of test failures and drive corrective actions alongside engineering teams. Support and maintain test management tools, CI pipelines and automation frameworks. Produce regular test execution reports, including clear metrics and status summaries. Requirements Proven background in system-level testing (including low-level/non-GUI environments), test planning. Degree in Electronic or Computer Science Engineering with experience in testing embedded systems, or software with hardware interactions. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, Docker) and defect tracking systems (e.g. JIRA, Confluence). Must have, or be able to obtain, SC-level clearance. Desirable Hands-on experience operating RF test equipment such as spectrum analysers, VNAs and power meters.
