A large and well-established Higher Education institution in Fife is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Procurement Manager to lead procurement activity across the organisation. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for a small, supportive team and influence across multiple areas including Estates, Professional Services, IT, Travel and Insurance.You will be based primarily at the Dunfermline campus, with flexible hybrid working, and join at an exciting time as the institution expands into a new state-of-the-art campus built to the Scottish Government''s Net Zero Public Sector Buildings Standard.The role:Lead procurement activity including tendering, contract management and supplier relationshipsGuide and support colleagues involved in devolved procurement activityUndertake spend analysis and use data to drive informed commercial decisionsDevelop and embed robust, sustainable procurement processesChampion ethical, social and environmental procurement principlesBuild strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple campusesAct as a key link with collaborative procurement bodies and sector groupsAbout You:Proven experience in public sector procurementKnowledge of Scottish/UK procurement legislationExperience managing regulated tender processesExcellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skillsCommercially minded, pragmatic and solutions-focusedInterest in sustainable and ethical procurementCIPS membership (or working towards) is ..... full job details .....
