Site Manager
to be based onsite at a client site with the main office in Hemel Hempstead.
SummaryAs a Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You’ll lead site teams, liaise with stakeholders, and maintain strong control over schedules, budgets, and quality.
What a typical day looks likeOversee site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel. Monitor project timelines and budgets and provide regular updates to senior management. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery. Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on site. Troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively to keep projects on track.
Experience we’re looking to add
Previous experience in a Site Manager role, ideally on large-scale or complex projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and project management practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and travel across the EMEA region as required.
Full driving license (essential).
Eligibility to work in the UK.
