Morson Edge is currently recruiting an Ariba Support Analyst on behalf of Rolls-Royce SMR, supporting the continued development and optimisation of its procurement systems and Source-to-Pay processes.
Following the recent implementation of SAP Ariba, this is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and evolving environment where you will play a key role in supporting business users, suppliers and procurement teams across critical procurement processes.
As an Ariba Support Analyst, you will investigate and resolve system and process queries, identify recurring issues and root causes, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver sustainable improvements.
This is a pivotal role for someone who combines strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach and a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate, diagnose and resolve queries relating to Supplier Onboarding, Strategic Sourcing and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
Provide effective support to suppliers, Purchasing and Supply Chain teams, requisitioners and other business users.
Monitor recurring system and process issues, identifying trends and underlying root causes.
Implement sustainable solutions to improve system performance, service delivery and user satisfaction.
Work closely with stakeholders across Digital, IT, Finance and Procurement, including the AMAS support partner.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.
Support the ongoing optimisation and improvement of Ariba processes and associated ways of working.
Develop, maintain and enhance user guidance, knowledge articles and process documentation.
Maintain and support the Ariba Support Hub SharePoint site, ensuring information remains accurate, accessible and relevant.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement systems and processes.
Support the business in effectively adopting and utilising Ariba following its implementation.
Prioritise and manage support activities effectively within a changing and sometimes high-pressure environment.
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience working in a procurement systems support role, ideally within a regulated, complex or large-scale organisation.
Experience investigating and resolving operational, process and systems-related issues while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and procurement governance principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a structured approach to identifying root causes and delivering effective solutions.
The ability to build positive working relationships across business, technical and external stakeholder groups.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and enhancing the user experience.
Previous experience working with SAP Ariba Source-to-Pay.
Experience supporting or working through an IT system implementation or transformation programme.
Experience working within procurement, supply chain or finance systems.
Experience creating and maintaining knowledge bases, user guidance or process documentation.
Experience working with SharePoint or similar collaboration and knowledge-management platforms.

You will be comfortable operating between business and technical teams, translating complex issues into clear and practical solutions, and identifying opportunities to improve processes rather than simply resolving individual incidents.
This role would suit someone with experience in procurement systems, SAP Ariba, Source-to-Pay or business systems support who is looking to play an important role within a growing and evolving organisation.
