The role focuses on maintaining plant and facilities to a high standard, reducing downtime, and supporting safe, efficient production operations. Key responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across plant and site facilitiesReduce equipment downtime while maintaining high safety and housekeeping standardsSupport the ongoing improvement of machinery reliability and site performanceEnsure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety and environmental standardsRecord and close maintenance tasks accurately using a computerised maintenance systemWork closely with production, engineering and support teams across the siteAssist with engineering improvements and cost-effective repair solutionsContribute to achieving site targets for output, quality and safety Requirements Time served mechanical apprenticeshipNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical EngineeringStrong mechanical fault-finding capabilityExperience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsExposure to TPM and planned preventative maintenance systemsGood awareness of health, safety and environmental practicesComfortable supporting others within a team environmentConfident using IT systems for reporting and documentationWelding experience, MIG and MMAPrevious experience in a senior or lead ..... full job details .....
