Director of Housing Standards, Assets andamp; Investment Local Authority Interim Contract £750 + Agile Working A leading local authority is seeking an exceptional Director of Housing Standards, Assets andamp; Investment to lead one of the most complex and high-profile housing portfolios in local government. This senior interim role will provide strategic leadership across housing standards, asset management, compliance and investment, ensuring safe, high-quality homes for residents while driving improvement, innovation and long-term sustainability. The Role Reporting to the Executive Director of Housing andamp; Commercial Partnerships, you will be a key member of the Housing Leadership Team and a catalyst for resident-focused change. You will lead a workforce of over 160 staff (with up to 7 direct reports) and oversee substantial revenue and capital investment programmes affecting approximately 22,000 council homes.
