This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children and young people with SEND, SEMH, behavioural, communication or complex additional needs. You will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide tailored support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.Support pupils with their learning, communication, emotional wellbeing and social development.Assist pupils with managing emotions, behaviour and challenging situations.Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a consistent and supportive role model.Support pupils to develop confidence, independence and resilience.Follow individual support, learning and behaviour plans.Encourage positive engagement and help remove barriers to learning.Support pupils during classroom activities, break times and wider school activities where required.Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and other ..... full job details .....
