Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established main contractor on an exciting retail construction project in Poole.
Working alongside an experienced Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations during the fit-out and finishing stages of a flagship retail development.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing subcontractors and daily site activities
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards
- Managing health & safety compliance on site
- Coordinating trades and maintaining workflow throughout the fit-out phase
- Conducting site inspections and progress reporting
- Assisting the Project Manager with programme delivery and client expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on retail, commercial or fast-track fit-out projects
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certified
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme deadlines
- Experience working under a Project Manager on larger schemes is advantageous
