Supply Desk are working in partnership with a popular secondary school in Sittingbourne, seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This role involves teaching English across KS3 and KS4, with shared planning and marking responsibilities. There is potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, creative, and engaging English lessons that inspire students across KS3 and KS4.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and academic success.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help them achieve their best.
• Collaborate with colleagues on planning and marking to ensure consistency and quality across the department.
• Engage with parents, carers, and staff to support studentsandrsquo; learning and development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching English at the secondary level.
• A strong track record of delivering engaging and creative lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to professional development and keeping up to date with best teaching practices.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
