Land Rights Project Manager
Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a dedicated Land Rights Project Manager for a contract role based across the UK, with a hybrid working model. This position is key to supporting the UK''s ambition to achieve a net zero carbon footprint by 2050, specifically focusing on the development and delivery of new infrastructure projects within the Land, Planning, and External Affairs department.Key Responsibilities:Guide a diverse team of land rights specialists, overseeing projects from inception to completion, including land acquisition and community negotiationsProvide expert advice and technical support to team membersLead a team of surveyors and land officers for major new infrastructure buildsAct as an expert witness in Public Inquiries, Compulsory Purchase, and Land Tribunal casesImplement National Grid''s Land Rights Strategy consistently and economicallyReport on project progress, key milestones, risks, and financial matters to stakeholdersManage internal and external stakeholder relationships and effectively communicate complex ideasSupport the Head of ETNI/SINI Land Teams in project deliveryProvide technical advice to National Grid''s Land Team and the broader project teamLiaise with stakeholders, external suppliers, and third parties to achieve project objectivesAttend relevant meetings and forums as requiredJob Requirements:Significant experience in managing large-scale, complex land projectsProven ability to provide guidance and support within a ..... full job details .....
