Head of NutritionOur client, a successful tech scale-up and cash-generative SME with a £5m turnover and 70 staff, aims to double in size over the next five years under the leadership of an experienced, charismatic CEO and a strong senior team. Their platform combines personalized technology with individual coaching to support nutrition, habit formation, and sustainable lifestyle changes.They seek to appoint a knowledgeable Registered Dietitian who understands nutrition science and its application to fitness, including weight loss, strength training, weightlifting, and performance enhancement.As Head of Nutrition, your responsibilities will include:Providing expert guidance on diet, exercise, and wellness to shape user experienceSupporting product development and creating evidence-based content for members and followersBeing the organisational voice on nutritional knowledgeManaging online and coaching nutritional content via digital platforms (video, chat, messaging)Developing customized meal plans and diet strategies for various goals such as fat loss, muscle gain, and metabolic healthCollaborating with fitness professionals and exercise scientists to align nutrition advice with training protocolsShaping product features that integrate nutrition, fitness, and health dataCreating digital content including articles, guides, meal templates, and educational resourcesStaying updated with evidence-based practices in dietetics and sports nutrition, including supplements and macronutrient timingSupporting users in building sustainable habits around food, training, and recoveryAnalyzing health data and user feedback to improve nutrition tools and servicesQualifications and skills required:Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credentialBachelor''s or Master''s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related fieldAt least 2 years’ experience in clinical, performance, or digital health settingsStrong understanding of strength training, weightlifting, and sports nutritionPassion for fitness and active lifestyleExcellent communication and coaching skillsProficiency with digital tools, health apps, and telehealth platformsExperience with behavior change techniquesAbility to analyze biometric data such as body composition, wearables, and nutrition tracking appsSalary and benefits:£50,000 - £70,000 per annum25 days holiday plus bank holidaysEmployee discountsFree on-site gymEnhanced sick pay schemeEnhanced maternity and paternity pay
