Warehouse Manager

Location: Orpington

Salary: -38,000 - -45,000 per year, DoE

Hours: Hours worked between 7am - 5pm.

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their ever-expanding team.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:

-Ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and effectively by managing, directing and training warehouse employees.

-Establish, monitor and manage operational goals.

-Be fully aware of all warehouses operational systems and procedures to ensure goods are correct when receipted in, when within the warehouse and when picked for deliveries/collections.

-Investigate, resolve and/or report problems as they arise.

-Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.

-Ensure they manage a team that provides customer focused service and takes proactive actions to meet the needs of customers.

-Use IT systems to manage the control and movement of goods and to plan improvements/changes required to manage the control of goods into, stored, and out of the company.

Requirements of the Warehouse Manager:

-Previous Warehouse Management or Assistant Manager experience.

-Knowledge of transport and distribution.

-Great communication and organisational skills.

-Ability to work as part of a team and own initiative.
