We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Shift Operative to join a prominent company within Hertfordshire. As the Warehouse Shift Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, providing exceptional service to all stakeholders, suppliers, and various departments. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Warehouse Shift Operative will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. Receiving, identifying, and inspecting incoming goods, and completing associated documentation, including quality control requests. 2. Placing incoming stock items into their storage locations and recording the location on the SAP Inventory Control system. 3. Picking and assembling orders for user departments and sections, ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice (cGDP) and Cold Chain Distribution (CCD) guidelines. 4. Operating counterbalance forklift trucks and other mechanical handling equipment safely and efficiently, while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse facility.
