We are currently looking for experienced Approved Electricians to work on water utility and water treatment projects. The successful candidates will have a strong background in electrical installation and maintenance, with previous experience working on water treatment plants, sewage treatment works, pumping stations or other water utility sites. This role would suit electricians who are comfortable working in an industrial environment and understand the additional health, safety and site requirements associated with water utility projects. Essential Requirements Approved Electrician with a valid ECS Gold Card Relevant Level 3 electrical qualification / recognised industry qualification Current BS7671 Wiring Regulations qualification Previous experience working on water utility or water treatment sites - essential, with EUSR card Good understanding of electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding Able to read and work from electrical drawings and schematics Experience installing and terminating electrical containment, cabling and equipment Good understanding of safe isolation and electrical safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team Reliable and professional approach to work Experience working on: Water treatment works Sewage treatment works Pumping stations Water utility infrastructure Clean water sites Wastewater sites MCCs and control panels Motor and pump installations LV distribution systems Cable containment and ..... full job details .....
