Interim Financial Accountant North Nottingham / Derby - 3 days on-site and an early finish on Friday3 months initially£55,000-£60,000 I''m looking for a technically strong Financial Accountant to join a growing, fast-paced business on an interim basis. There''s a strong technical core to the role, but it''s not just about statutory reporting and year-end. You''ll also work closely with the wider finance team and business, using the numbers to support budgeting, forecasting, and better commercial decision-making. The role will cover: • Statutory accounts and external audit• VAT and tax reporting across UK and overseas entities• Financial controls and balance sheet integrity• CAPEX accounting and reporting• Budgeting, forecasting and providing meaningful financial insight• Working with stakeholders to improve the quality of financial information• Identifying opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls and improve reporting Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified, you''ll have a strong technical foundation but also enjoy looking beyond the numbers and understanding what they mean for the wider business.
