2D CAD Engineer / EstimatorFull-Time Permanent £30,000 per annumWe are currently seeking a 2D CAD Engineer / Estimator to join a busy and expanding office-based engineering team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and growing environment.Key Responsibilities Reading and interpreting engineering drawingsProducing profile drawings using 2D AutoCAD (or similar software)Working accurately to instruction while meeting deadlinesSupporting estimation and related office-based engineering tasksRemaining flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Skills and Experience Proven ability to read engineering drawingsExperience producing 2D profile drawings using AutoCAD or equivalentEngineering background preferredExperience with Lantek software is advantageous but not essentialAbility to recognise material types such as S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316, etc.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Personal Attributes Flexible and reliableComfortable working in an extremely fast-moving environmentAble to follow instructions accuratelyStrong communication and teamwork skills Working Hours Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pmFriday: 8:00am - 4:30pmLunch: 1 hour per dayTotal: 39.5 hours per week Salary £30,000 per ..... full job details .....
