My client, a well known education establishment, is recruiting a permanent Head of Finance for systems to join their team. Reporting into the Deputy Chief Accountant the role for Head of Finance Systems will be responsible for the development of the finance systems to support the achievement of the organisations overarching strategies. You will also ensure that the current systems owned by Finance and other systems which integrate with the main finance system (Unit4 ERP/Unit4 ERPx) are operationally efficient, provide accurate data and meet end users'' needs. The role will explore and manage the development and implementation of any new systems that will contribute to the improvement in our service delivery. Day to day the role will include: Being fully responsible for the systems owned and used by Finance and be responsible for implementing and continuing the development of the financial systems, including integration with other source and destination systems. Implementing new systems that will benefit the University when required. This involves developing project roadmap and associated budget proposals for new initiatives to ensure optimal service delivery of service within the University strategic framework.
