School HR Administrator - Bolton

We are currently seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join a school in Bolton on an initial temporary basis.

Previous school experience is not essential, however, candidates must have solid HR administration experience and be confident handling sensitive and confidential employee information.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing Leave of Absence documentation and maintaining accurate HR records
• Processing PU29 forms in line with Bolton Council requirements, including return-to-work documentation
• Providing general HR administrative support to the school
• Scanning, uploading and filing HR documentation accurately
• Maintaining organised and up-to-date employee records
• Handling sensitive employee information with a high level of confidentiality
• Responding to HR-related queries and supporting staff with administrative processes
• Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and within required timescales

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous HR administration experience - essential
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
• A good understanding of HR processes and documentation
• Strong IT and administrative skills
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• A professional, approachable and discreet manner
• School experience is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
