The Trust operates a number of schools specialising in education for children and young people with-Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Essential RequirementsApplicants must:

• Hold a minimum-Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification-(or equivalent)
• Have a minimum of-6 months'' UK-based experience-working with children in a school, childcare, or residential setting
• Be able to provide a minimum of-2 years'' worth of references, including at least one referee who can comment on your interaction and work with children
• Hold an-Enhanced DBS Certificate-registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS through Smile Education
• Have a genuine passion for supporting the care, wellbeing, and education of children and young people
• Be able to immerse yourself in school life and become a positive role model for students
• Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach, understanding that no two days are the same
• Have the confidence and resilience to manage challenging behaviour and effectively de-escalate situations when required
• Be able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a wider school team
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be committed to promoting positive outcomes for students with SEND
