Are you an experienced FLT Driver with a background in automotive logistics, manufacturing, or production support?

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics provider supporting a major automotive manufacturer in North Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-volume operation where your skills will play a vital role in keeping production lines running efficiently.

We are looking for experienced Counterbalance, Reach and Bendi (Flexi) Truck Drivers who understand the demands of a modern automotive environment and can work safely whilst maintaining productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Counterbalance, Reach or Bendi (Flexi) trucks within a busy automotive logistics operation.
• Line feeding production areas with parts and materials to support continuous manufacturing.
• Supplying assembly lines in line with Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing processes.
• Moving automotive components, stillages, pallets and returnable packaging throughout the facility.
• Loading and unloading trailers efficiently and safely.
• Supporting goods-in, stock replenishment and material movements across the site.
• Carrying out stock transfers and inventory movements using warehouse systems.
• Working closely with production, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, housekeeping and material handling when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance, Reach or Bendi (Flexi) licence issued or refreshed within the last 3 years.
• Minimum 12 months' FLT experience within an automotive, manufacturing or high-volume logistics environment.
• Previous experience of line feeding, production support or materials movement.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work both on and off the truck as operational requirements dictate.
• Reliable, flexible and capable of working within a fast-paced team environment.
