This position requires working with various tools in a fast-paced environment. Experience of working with wood and tools preferred. Must have transport due to location. Temp to perm for the right person. Duties Operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring optimal performance. Assemble components using both power tools and hand tools, adhering to safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance needs. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following health and safety regulations. Assist in the training of new staff on machinery operation and assembly processes. Document production activities accurately for quality control purposes. Skills Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools for assembly tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output in all tasks performed.
