Are you an experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

Prospero Teaching We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming SEND school in Oldbury, supporting pupils with complex needs and PMLD.

The Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with PMLD
- Assist with personal care, including feeding, toileting, and moving & handling
- Support pupils with communication and sensory needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and therapy teams to deliver individualised support plans
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:
- Experience supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs
- You must have a minimum of a level 2 qualification in working with children to be considered for this role
- Comfortable with personal care and manual handling (training provided if needed)
- Calm, patient, and resilient, with a nurturing approach
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
