As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you''ll make sure we have a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well. Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere is part of our commitment to delivering first-class care and support.Responsibilities

Turn your hand to all sorts of tasks within the care home building as well as in the gardens and grounds, e.g., fixing a leaky tap and planting bulbs.Work comfortably alone or lead a team and support the General Manager with annual budget planning.Liaise with contractors on jobs that fall outside the expertise of your team.About You

The wellbeing of our residents will be your number one priority. With hands-on experience of property maintenance, you\''ll have at least one trade skill and ideally a proven ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks. You should be reliable and flexible with working hours. This role also requires a full UK driving licence, IT literacy and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).Rewards Package
