Channel Marketing
Principal Consultant is an integral part of our Advisory and Consulting, project-based business. You will deliver consistently impactful guidance to channel marketing, CMO and GTM leaders, support strategic consulting engagements, and develop senior relationships. You will make strategic recommendations on building channel capabilities, organizational alignment, and channel strategies to help clients achieve growth goals. Our advisory team partners provide ongoing executive guidance from strategy to execution using MomentumABM proprietary research, best-practices, frameworks and tools. The role requires a growth mindset and strategic thinking with authority and expertise, helping clients sharpen channel marketing capabilities, design ABM programs to drive growth, and overcome operational and measurement-related challenges.Key Responsibilities
Advisory and consulting deliveryLead and deliver ongoing advisory engagements for allocated clients in technology and professional servicesConsult with clients to apply our research and best-practice models in the context of their business, solving problems through project-based engagements as well as inquiry and advisoryRefine, productise and innovate a regular stream of channel marketing related IP and frameworks for clients in line with the annual innovation planPropose new ideas/innovation opportunities based on gaps identified from client engagementsCollaborate with other advisors to deliver exceptional advisory experiencesSupport collaboration, drive operational excellence and ensure timely client knowledge transferClient relationshipsServe as the dedicated advisory point of contact for allocated clients, delivering value across all key interactionsElevate client interactions by leading engagements with clarity and impactDeliver a fantastic client experience through leadership, proactive delivery, and strong partnershipsGather, synthesize, and communicate insights about a portfolio of clients to inform future consultingSpot opportunities and support account expansion and proposal developmentFacilitate workshops, lead assessments, deliver guidance calls and present best-practices and researchMaintain high client satisfaction and enable service expansion within advisory relationshipsStrategic influence and market presenceAct as internal SME on channel marketing topicsLead development of channel marketing best-practices and productise IP for consistent deliveryCollaborate with the advisory team to develop IP that addresses portfolio gapsPartner with internal Marketing Team to promote thought leadership through blogs, infographics, webinars or podcastsPresent at client and industry events and establish an industry presence as a speaker and thinkerEnsure successful delivery from diagnostics through value realizationExperience
Extensive experience in a channel marketing role (10+ years) and/or B2B marketing consultancy with a focus on B2B channel marketing. ABM with channel partners is highly desirableDemonstrable experience in strategic thinking and problem solvingBachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or MBA highly desirableExpert understanding of different partner typesPerks and Benefits
