An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join a national facilities maintenance provider supporting a portfolio of busy retail stores.This role acts as the technical specialist for designated sites, providing first response and resolution across life safety and security systems.Role OverviewYou will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, fault finding and repair services across fire alarms, CCTV, EAS, access control, PA systems and automatic pedestrian gates. The position requires strong diagnostic ability, commitment to KPIs and confidence working in customer-facing environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first call response and technical support to allocated stores.Diagnose faults and complete repairs in line with response and closure targets.Deliver planned preventative maintenance in accordance with contractual requirements.Complete all statutory and reactive works assigned to the role.Ensure accurate documentation, certification and reporting.Liaise with store management and maintain excellent working relationships.Escalate specialist issues where required.Work safely and in line with permit and compliance procedures.Essential RequirementsGCSE level education or equivalent.Electrical competency qualification (NVQ or City and Guilds).Proven experience working with fire alarm systems.Full, current UK driving licence.RG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. ..... full job details .....
