Electrical Design Engineer

£30,000 - £40,000 + £4k Car Allowance, 10% Pension, Hybrid Working

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Design electrical and control systems in line with industry standards
• Produce schematics, panel drawings, cable diagrams, and single line diagrams
• Support electrical power distribution and control system architecture
• Create and maintain EC&I documentation (P&IDs, cable schedules, instrument schedules)
• Review and update engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Apply EMC best practices (cable segregation, shielding, grounding)
• Carry out site surveys and identify system improvements
• Support commissioning, testing, and validation activities
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Assist with tenders and technical proposals

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• 1 year+ experience in a similar role
• AutoCAD Electrical (or similar) experience, training available
• Experience producing electrical drawings and documentation
• Understanding of EC&I documentation
