Subcontract ManagerLocation:Luton Contract:12 months Rate:Up to 60 per hour (Inside IR35)Security Clearance: Candidates must already hold a high level of UK Security Clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work.We are seeking an experiencedSubcontract Managerto join an Integrated Project Team within the Defence/Aerospace sector.Key ResponsibilitiesLead subcontract management and procurement activities across the project lifecycle.Manage supplier performance, relationships and contractual requirements.Forecast and report subcontract spend.Identify and develop new suppliers with specialist and emerging capabilities.Draft and negotiate complex commercial and contract documentation.Translate customer and project requirements into commercial agreements.Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.Work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance and effective flow-down of terms.Lead commercial strategies and Lifecycle Management (LCM) deliverables.Manage export compliance, restrictions and third-party rights.Experience RequiredStrong commercial/procurement experience, ideally within Defence, Aerospace or a similar regulated sector.Degree-level technical training, professional qualification or significant relevant experience.MCIPS qualified or working towards MCIPS is preferred.Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.Good understanding of commercial and legal aspects of contracting.Strong knowledge of ..... full job details .....
