Our ClientWe are representing a well-respected and growing mechanical contractor known for delivering high-quality CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects across London. With a strong project pipeline secured for the coming year, they are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team and take ownership of multiple commercial schemes, with individual project values of up to £4.5 million.

The RoleAs Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple mechanical packages across CAT A and CAT B office fit-out schemes. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and take full responsibility for managing site teams, subcontractors, programme, and client liaison.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee full mechanical delivery of CAT A/B commercial projects

Lead all project phases from pre-construction through to handover

Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors across multiple live sites

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification

Regular reporting to the Operations Manager on progress and any project risks

Liaise with commercial, design, and procurement teams to maintain project flow

Oversee health and safety compliance across all project activities

Attend client and site meetings and maintain strong professional relationships

Requirements

Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on CAT A/B commercial fit-out projects

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ideally within London

Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and programmes

Effective communicator with strong leadership and coordination skills

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid - desirable

Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ, HNC/HND or equivalent)
