Your new company You will be working for an authority in the West Midlands region who aim to create a more prosperous, fairer, greener and healthier environment for the local area. This authority is working on and managing the design side of new tram extensions within the Birmingham area, which is a 1.3billion project as a whole. Therefore, you will be working on one of the largest and most intriguing projects in the Birmingham area. Due to the second phase of the project now being awarded, the authority is looking to hire an Assistant Delivery Manager on a long-term freelance basis.Your new role You will be responsible for, but not limited to, supporting Delivery Managers in completing the tram extension projects and managing the deliverables from contractors under the contract, supporting the contracting delivery team by communicating with the design team and ensuring necessary challenges are resolved. You will liaise with the Delivery Managers and Programme Leads on a weekly basis to ensure project and budget updates are completed whilst leading a safer culture within the organisation.
