ARM are supporting a market-leading Automotive testing company to recruit a Principal Engineer (sled) within their Passive Safety department. Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits We''re looking for an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead a small technical team delivering passive safety testing to global standards on their sled facility. This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-performance, regulated test environment.Responsibilities Lead Health and Safety, risk assessments, and safe test operationsManage and develop a small team of engineers and techniciansPlan workloads, schedules, and resourcesAct as key technical contact for customers and future programmesDrive continuous improvement and performance metricsOwn departmental finances including invoicing and forecastingSupport ISO17025, ISO9001, and other accreditationsOversee sled testing procedures, equipment utilisation, and data analysis Experience Degree-qualified, ideally in Automotive Engineering5+ years'' experience in automotive or aerospace passive safety testingStrong sled testing expertise (essential)Proven people management and planning skillsExpert knowledge of European, Federal, and Global safety standardsExperience with data acquisition, high-speed cameras, and test instrumentationStrong understanding of ATD injury criteria and data interpretation Desirables Static rig testing experienceFARO Arm or CMM experience Disclaimer: This vacancy is being advertised by either Advanced Resource Managers ..... full job details .....
