Senior Estimator / EstimatorLocation: Manchester (Office-Based)Position: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Estimator or Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist, award winning Building Envelope Solutions provider who operate nationwide as both a principal and sub contractor who delivers Façade and Fire wall remediation, Building Envelope solutions and refurbishment projects. Candidates must have strong experience in façade remediation, with full through-wall construction experience including but not limited to SFS Intumescent lining boards, insultation, breather membranes, VCL and all external facade facing products such as EWI, Brickslip, terracotta tiles, aluminium and HPL and hard metal finishing productsKey Responsibilities Preparing accurate cost estimates for façade remediation and construction projects valued up to £10 million Managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to final tender submission Reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules, and tender documentation Interrogate and understand FRAEWs reports. Producing detailed quantity take-offs and cost plans Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities Supporting projects through the PCSA (Pre-Construction Services Agreement) process Liaising with internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase Undertaking occasional site visits to assess project requirements and ..... full job details .....
