SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)Annual Salary: £250 per dayLocation: SuttonJob Type: Part-time (3 days a week)We are seeking a dedicated SENCO to join our dynamic team in a primary school setting. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for working with SEN children, assisting with their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and effectively liaising with teachers and parents to enhance educational outcomes.Day-to-day of the role:Work closely with SEN children to understand and cater to their individual needs both within and outside the classroom environment.Build strong, supportive relationships with the children, helping them feel secure and understood.Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive approach to the children''s education and well-being.Manage and oversee the administration of EHCPs, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.Create and implement strategies to support children with special educational needs, monitoring their progress and making adjustments as necessary.Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling administrative tasks and maintaining high standards of professionalism.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a SENCO in a primary school setting.Strong understanding of the needs of children with SEN and the framework of EHCPs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, staff, and parents.Ability to manage time ..... full job details .....
