Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.

• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.

• Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

• Provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and/or additional learning needs.

• Help with classroom preparation, organisation, and administrative tasks.

• Promote good behaviour and encourage participation in learning activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (paid or voluntary).

• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

• Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
