As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer, you will work closely with the engineering teams to deliver water, wastewater treatment and network projects, from feasibility through to detailed design stages. You will also provide hydraulic technical guidance and coordination to our design teams throughout the lifecycle of design, ensuring our hydraulic expertise is utilised and embedded into our designs. In this role you will be responsible for: Delivering Hydraulic Engineering on a range of projects from feasibility through outline and detailed design stages Producing and reviewing hydraulic calculations, HADES models, specifications, drawings and reports Engaging with the Client, managing relationships and adopting a One-Team approach to support them in achieving their aims Mentoring more junior colleagues. Providing technical guidance and advice on best practice in hydraulic design to others Working collaboratively across disciplines to ensure the efficient delivery of projects within the programme Providing quality assurance of others work by undertaking check/review functions. You will work closely and collaboratively with the construction team and supply chain to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and post project review.
