Assistant Site Manager – Commercial Project

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a busy commercial construction project in Norwich on a temporary contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established main contractor on a fast-paced commercial development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operations
• Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring work is completed safely and on schedule
• Monitoring health & safety procedures and maintaining site compliance
• Assisting with inductions, site paperwork, and progress reporting
• Ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project
• Managing site logistics and deliveries

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on commercial projects
• Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid qualification preferred
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
