ABOUT THE ROLEAs Senior Support Worker, you''ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home. You''ll lead by example, support junior staff, and help create a safe, supportive, and healing space for children who''ve experienced trauma. WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR At least 1 year''s experience in a residential children''s home Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards) A solid understanding of therapeutic and trauma-informed care Confident leadership and communication skills A caring, patient, and resilient approach Full UK Driving Licence Enhanced DBS and suitable references KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the team in delivering high-quality, consistent care Help implement care plans and behaviour support strategies Act as a role model for therapeutic practice and positive routines Encourage young people''s emotional and social development Assist with rota planning, team development, and safeguarding ..... full job details .....
