Assistant Financial AccountantFull-Time Salary: £35,000 £40,000 We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a full-time position offering a salary of £35,000 £40,000, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities for the appointed Assistant Financial Accountant• Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accurate customer records and proactive debt collection.• Produce aged debt reports and support cash collection performance monitoring.• Perform daily cash management, including posting receipts and payments and preparing cash reports.• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet control accounts.• Support month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.• Assist with fixed asset register maintenance and depreciation postings.• Support preparation of audit schedules, statutory accounts, and tax returns.• Maintain vendor accounts in IFS and manage expense processing.• Provide financial analysis and ad hoc reporting as required. The selected Assistant Financial Accountant will meet the following key requirements for the position.• Part-qualified AAT / ACCA / CIMA (or studying towards).• Previous experience in a finance or accounting support role.• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and core accounting principles.• Competent in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas).• Experience using IFS is desirable.• Knowledge of UK financial ..... full job details .....
