This is a busy and vibrant school with good staff morale and a long term to permanent post. The school are looking for a a teacher able to emphasise the importance of music in education. We are seeking applications from Music Teachers enthusiastic about contributing to our centre of excellence for music education and are available from Easter 2026 to commit to a full time or part time (0.8) basis. This post is offered on a temporary to permanent basis directly with the school with interviews to suit your availability. Based in Stevenage the school offers ample parking and is a walk and short bus ride from the train station. Parking is available for drivers and the school host a number of social events throughout the year. At KS3, students are taught a practical, hands-on curriculum in both instrumental music and singing. At KS4, students follow the OCR GCSE specification over 3 years, and Key Stage 5 students follow the OCR A Level Music course. Our extra-curricular program is extensive, and we offer all musicians opportunities to participate in ensembles and perform throughout the year.
