All other bank holidays falling within the shift pattern are considered working days. The Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our busy workshop team in Avonmouth. Reporting to the Workshop Chargehand and Workshop/Service Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards, ensuring vehicles are maintained safely, efficiently and to the highest quality. Key Responsibilities Carry out all service, maintenance and repair work in line with manufacturer standards and guidelines. Perform vehicle inspections, fault finding, diagnostic testing and repairs. Complete adjustment operations and replacement of worn or defective components. Undertake major repair and assembly work, including work on major vehicle units and systems. Install and retrofit accessories and detachable body components as required. Identify and report unusual wear, defects and additional repair requirements.
