Maths TeacherSloughJanuary Start MPS/UPSSupply Desk is working in partnership with a supportive and well-regarded secondary school in Slough, to recruit a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher for a January start.This role is ideal for a Maths specialist who is enthusiastic about numeracy, confident delivering engaging and structured lessons, and committed to helping pupils develop strong mathematical understanding, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.The Role As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring pupils and supporting progress in all areas of mathematics.Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons in line with the National CurriculumTeaching key topics such as algebra, geometry, statistics, and numberPreparing students for assessments and GCSE MathsCreating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environmentAssessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedbackDifferentiating lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilitiesMaintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievementWorking collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staffBuilding positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - desirable Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and/or KS4)(ECTs welcome with relevant Maths teaching ..... full job details .....
