The Data and MI Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, data teams and technology delivery teams, using strong business analysis and consultancy skills to understand how data is created, managed, transformed, reported and consumed across the organisation. The role is responsible for understanding business processes and information needs, identifying data-related issues and opportunities, and translating business requirements into actionable data, reporting, analytics and information management solutions. Working across business and technical teams, the Data Business Analyst will help improve data quality, governance, consistency and usability, supporting the delivery of data products, management information (MI), reporting, dashboards and insights that enable effective business decision-making. The role will also identify inefficiencies, data duplication, gaps in data ownership and opportunities to simplify or improve data flows, interfaces and reporting processes.
