Disability Assessor

What does the Disability Assessor role involve? The Disability Assessor role will involve you carrying out 4 to 5 client assessments per day . A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person''s disability or health condition affects their daily life. You ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That''s the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don''t. Your role is to gather information and produce the report. What is on offer as a Disability Assessor? - Excellent starting salary at £43,500pa - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours - Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available) - Annual appriasals - Hybrid working available - this will mean 2 days are office based at your closest site and 3 days per week are home-based (based on a full time role) - Annual leave + bank holidays + the ability to buy or sell holiday days, Pension scheme, £400 paid NMC fees and full training and revalidation support is provided.
