MIG Welder Fabricator

Service Service is recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Droitwich.

This is a hands-on role working on the fabrication and welding of heavy-duty equipment and commercial vehicle components. The successful candidate will be able to work from detailed engineering drawings and produce high-quality fabrication work to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG weld and fabricate heavy gauge steel up to 20mm thickness
• Work from engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
• Operate welding equipment using 1.2mm wire
• Carry out fabrication work to a high standard of quality and accuracy
• Assist with plasma cutting, oxy-acetylene cutting and press brake operations where required
• Ensure work is completed safely and within production deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment

About You

• Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working with heavy fabrication and structural steel
• Previous experience within commercial vehicle manufacturing or a similar engineering environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good time management and organisational skills

What's on Offer

• Up to £17.50 per hour, depending on experience
• Overtime available at enhanced rates
• 40-hour working week - Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
