- Full Time Vacancy (8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)
Special Needs Teacher Specification
We are currently seeking an experienced Special Needs Teacher for a full-time job in a SEND School in the West Midlands. This is working with Complex and SLD children at secondary level.
To be considered you must have experience working as an SEN Teacher and an expert knowledge of the SEND school curriculum, along with a caring and nurturing approach to your work.
- You must be a qualified SEN Teacher (QTS)
- Have a excellent knowledge of the UK SEND system
- Be able to nurture and support young children with SEND
- Ideally have worked for at least 12 months within Special Needs
- Safeguarding level 1 trained
- SEND School experience - ASD, Complex, PMLD, SLD
- Dedicated to supporting young SEND learners
- DBS on the update service - Child and Adult DBS
The school is looking for an Special Needs Teacher
The school is a SEN setting for learners with SLD, and complex needs, who are currently looking for a Special Needs Teacher.
You will be working within a KS3 department, supported by fantastic TA''s who provide and deliver a high level of care and individual support. This is all facilitated by a senior leadership team who really care and value the work each individual does within the school.
Someone with a pro-active, engaging ability with young adults would be a great fit for this role. Being a PRU school, you must be diligent and professional, and committed to changing the lives of those you teach.
