We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician/Motor Mechanic to join our team in Park Royal, London on a full time position. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing (must have diagnostic experience), repairing, and maintaining various branded vehicles in both diesel and petrol as well as hybrid vehicles. We require a experienced person that is good at working as part of a team in a busy workshop.Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, servicing, brakes, clutches and general engine repairs, cambelts/ timing chains, DPF systems and complete engine and gearbox replacement- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles.- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems/issues and report to the Workshop Manager for vehicle repair estimates- Complete necessary repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements:- clean driving license- Proven experience as a Mechanic and competence to work alone.- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components- Experience in using diagnostic tools and equipment (important)- Excellent problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Must have his own tools- Reliable commute to Park Royal NW10 or relocate prior to startingExperience:workshop: 4 years (required)Licence/Certification:Must hold a full UK valid driving ..... full job details .....
