Vision for Education are actively recruiting individuals with a background in supporting adults or children who display social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD) across the Cardiff area.We work closely with a pupil referral unit (PRU) who are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to support pupils on both a 1:1 and small group basis.Often, these pupils are labelled as the naughty children, which is rarely the full story. Many come from disadvantaged and challenging backgrounds, and school is their safe space a place where positive role models like you can make a real and lasting difference.The school is looking for someone who is genuinely interested in helping steer these pupils in the right direction and act as a positive influence. You will be expected to build strong relationships and de-escalate behaviours before situations escalate.
