It operates as part of a global glass manufacturing group and supplies specialised materials to customers worldwideDescriptionAs the Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician you will be tasked with the following; Diagnose electrical and mechanical breakdowns to restore equipment; by reviewing drawings/documentation, repair and/or redesign, in order to avoid or minimise production downtime and losses. Repairing equipment which is predominantly Mechanical such as; Gearboxes, Belts, Sprockets, Conveyors, Drive Shafts, Ovens, Spools, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Pumps etc. Create, modify, and review risk assessments and standard operating procedures in accordance with Group Policy, legislative requirements and industry best practice. Undertake preventative maintenance of plant equipment, services, distribution and alarm systems to avoid downtime/losses. Electrical work up to 415V will be completed and may include live working.
