A new exclusive opportunity, we are looking for a commercially focused Group Financial Director to join a successful privately owned group of companies based in Bradford, with a turnover of 20m. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the owners, with wide-ranging responsibility across all financial, commercial and operational aspects of the group. The Role Includes: Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reportingCashflow management, forecasting and oversight of funding requirements (loans, overdrafts, leases)Managing foreign currency purchases, forward contracts, and supplier payments in multiple currenciesCompany secretarial duties, compliance and governanceOverseeing intercompany transactions and rechargesPreparation and submission of VAT returnsManaging Sage 200, Sage CRM and MS Office systemsOversight of insurances, utilities and fleet managementSupporting capital expenditure projects and property managementIdentifying and securing grant funding and RandD tax creditsManaging construction project finances and cost controlsLiaison with external auditors and professional advisorsThe Candidate: We are looking for a hands-on, commercially astute Finance Director with strong leadership skills and a broad financial management background.
