Production Operative

• Salary: £12.90ph + OT

• Temp-Ongoing long term

• Hours: Monday to Wednesday 6am - 4pm, Thursday 6am-2:50pm (37.5hrs basic per week)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our busy manufacturing team. You will run production machines, check product quality, and keep your work area safe and clean. Full training on our specific machinery is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Check products regularly to make sure they meet quality standards.
• Report any machine faults or safety issues to the supervisor right away.
• Load raw materials into the machine and clear finished goods.
• Keep accurate daily production records.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace following health and safety rules.

Requirements & Skills

• Previous experience as a machine operative or in a factory setting is preferred, but not essential.
• Basic English and math skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• A strong focus on workplace safety and teamwork.
